Weigh in

I lost two pounds this week - wooohooo!! But have you ever had one of those weeks where you felt like you lost more? A few days ago I weighed less than I did today. I've also noticed that when I work out like crazy and I'm sore, my weight goes up. I will just have to hope as the soreness fades, the scales reflect the true effort I've been making!! I feel like I've got it!!

I read somewhere that when we are sore that our muscles actually retain water to help in the healing process.....so it can temporarily affect your weight. But it's short lived and the end results of stronger muscles far outweigh the temporary water retention!

Keep at it..two pounds is AWESOME!

Don't fret, I've heard the same about water retention and muscle. AND muscle weighs more than fat, BUT muscle burns fat faster.
